Keladi Tikus (Typhonium flagelliforme)

Keladi Tikus or Typhonium flagelliforme is a plant used locally and effectively to combat cancer. The plant, Typhonium flagelliforme (Araceae), commonly known as the "rodent tuber" in Malaysia, is often used as an essential ingredient of herbal remedies for alternative cancer therapies. People take it as powder or in combination with milk or different types of other herbal extracts as treatment of different type of cancers. The hexane extract of this plant was evaluated for cytotoxic activity against in vitro culture on murine leukemia cells.
